I've heard about it but I have no idea what they are striking for. Lol.

Basically LJ is getting rid of basic accounts and people will have to switch to Plus accounts with ads.
People seem to think that not visiting the site a whole one day is gonna make them not do it. All its gonna do is make the LJ team think that the people had an emergency.
And it doesn't help that the people who said they weren't going to post, came on to make sure others didn't post... which so defeated the purpose.
