Book Help
Showers are the best when exhausted.
So before I go to bed from exahaustion  (which is something I will bring up in a later post, don't wanna get into it now...) I have a question to my flist.

So in my Macroeconomics class we have to choose a book to read and then write a paper comparing it to the Bush Administration.. and the books are:

  • Wealth of Nations
  • The General Theory of Employment, Interest, and Money
  • The Communist Manifesto
  • Free to Choose
  • The Republic
  • The Prince
  • The Theory of Leisure Class
  • Economics and The Public Purpose
  • Capitalism and Freedom
  • The Supply Side
  • Principles of Political Economy and Taxation
  • Freakonomics: A Rouge Economics Explores the Hidden Side of Everything
  • The Age of Turbulence: Adventures in a New World
  • The World is Flat
So if any of you have read any of these or have heard anything about them, could you let me know? I am gonna look into them myself, but I was hoping someone my have some insight to them as well.
THANK YOU! :D

LOL, I have a friend who would probably say "The Communist Manifesto" ...I'm pretty sure he's never read it. Marxism, man. People think this friend is a psychopath.

I have never read it myself (only short bits), but I've always wanted to familiarize myself with "The Prince"/the Machiavellian concept. Just out of curiosity. Not for political or philosophical reasons. I don't have deep thoughts like that or anything. I'm just genuinely curious due to TV/Movies :P

I'm sure I probably should know (or have heard of) some of the others on the list. But honestly, it's not coming to me right now...
